Hello families,

Tonight for homework students are to tap into their CREATIVE side!  Students are to pick one (or more) of the topics from our Unit 4 math material.  Topics include:

1.  Area

2.  Perimeter

3.  Triangles

4.  Parallelograms

5.  Coordinate Plane

6.  Surface Area

7.  Volume

Once they decide their topic – then it is time to get creative!  They are to do SOMETHING to share in class tomorrow that will teach the topic to the rest of the class.  Maybe they decide to write new lyrics to a favorite pop song, maybe they write a poem, create a poster, make a game, show a skit – there are SO MANY GREAT IDEAS!  A cheer, a chant, a rap, a comic strip!  Wow!!  What will they do?

I am looking forward to sharing time tomorrow.  We will be video taping the presentations.  I can’t wait to see what our geniuses create!!!
