Hello families,

Next Wednesday, February 10, we will be having a Unit 4 math test.  This unit has been particularly challenging with a bunch of formulas and processes that we have been working very hard to learn.  I know students have been bringing home their ISN every day in order to help them study and prepare for this big test.  I have recommended to students that they study 5 – 10 minutes each night between now and test day!

On Tuesday, February 9, I would like to offer “Study Jam” after school from 3:30 – 5 pm.  Students are being invited to stay after school (permission slip required) to study with me for the test on Wednesday.  We will do practice problems and play some games to help prepare for the test.  Parents are welcome to join their child here so that you may be able to support them as they continue to study for the test.

I can only support 30 students so signing and returning the permission slip is VERY important.  Only the first 30 I receive will be able to benefit from this time together.  If it is a big success I will continue providing Study Jams for future tests.  Permission slips are coming home today so please keep an eye out!
