Too much stuff in my lost and found!

The lost and found in my room is overflowing with papers, books, and sweatshirts.  Please make sure to talk to your students, and if they are missing anything to please check in my room.  They may come before school or during dismissal.

New behavior on Classdojo

Starting today you may notice a new behavior point on Classdojo under the needs improvement section.  A negative point will be added for “out of uniform”.  The most common infractions are untucked shirts, sweatshirts/hoodies that are not part of the uniform, or incorrect shoes.  Please refer to the uniform policy sent home if you have any questions on what is and is not school appropriate. Dress Code

Social Studies Homework this weekend

To clarify the Remind post about Social Studies this weekend:

Students have been working on a project the last few days in class, where they were assigned an industrialist and had to research their life.  Their goal was to prove if their businessmen was a “Robber Baron” or “Captain of Industry”.  They will have time in class on Monday to complete the project, but it is due before they leave class on Monday.  It is up to them to know how much work they still need to do in order to hand in their best work, and come prepared to finish on Monday.

Central America Map

There seems to be some confusion on the new map for social studies.  Students are responsible for all countries in Central America, I put the lines on smaller countries to make sure students do not forget them.  The complete list of countries needed for this map are

Canada

USA

Mexico

Guatemala

Honduras

El Salvador

Belize

Costa Rica

Panama

Nicaragua
