Caitlin’s Smiles — 6th Grade Service Project

Sixth grade has been working on their service project this week! We are raising awareness and donations for the Caitlin’s Smiles foundation. This foundation, named after a young girl who battled pediatric cancer with smiles and a positive attitude, aims to create smiles and laughs for children fighting severe illness. Caitlin’s Smiles provides “Bags of Smiles”, craft kits, toys, coping kits, and care kits.

Our sixth graders have been creating cards to go in the “Bags of Smiles”, posters to let others know about this foundation, and collection boxes for donations. We are hoping to collect 300 cans of Play-Doh to donate to Caitlin’s Smiles to go into the “Bags of Smiles”. At the end of our drive, we will be sending all the cards and Play-Doh to the foundation.

Please consider donating new cans of Play-Doh to Caitlin’s Smiles through our sixth graders to help support a great cause! We will be collecting them through 5/27.
